HAYWARD, Calif. (KGO) -- BART put its brand new $2 million train car to the test and something went wrong. Just before 2 p.m., a weeks-old BART car plowed into a mound of dirt, called a sandbox.
According to the City of San Bruno, the construction window runs from February through June 2026, with most activity planned overnight from 9 PM to 4 AM.
