When orphaned elephant Enkesha first arrived in our care, she would always dive into the mud bath to soothe her injured trunk, which was almost severed by a snare. Two years on, she has full use of her trunk and her mud bath love is as evident as ever. This sweet water baby loves to wallow to her heart’s content whenever she has the opportunity. For British infantry during the 1950s, 60s and 70s one of their key anti-tank weapons was this, the Battalion Anti-Tank (BAT) gun. BAT and its variants were 120mm recoilless rifles - offering great firepower in a portable package, but with less range than traditional anti-tank guns, suiting rough terrain or light infantry.
